Real ale and food outlet opened 1st November 2018 by local, Kit Brammer, a chef who has worked closely with Four Kings Brewery since inception, who wanted to amalgamate good beer and good food in one venue. 3 hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales available. Four Kings Porter, another varying Four Kings, plus a further guest that could be from anywhere. 20p off for CAMRA Members. Also one craft keg & a decent selection of bottled beers, wines & gins. The food is untypical of your usual pub fayre, described as “small plates to complement beer”, and is available at all times. The venue used to be clothes shop, which has been converted into a micro-pub. The bar faces the front windows, behind which lies the kitchen. It’s a cosy feel, with lots of dark wood, welcoming to both drinkers and diners alike. Children welcome until 7pm. Less than 5 minutes walk from train station and on regular bus routes (61, 236, 237).
