Two rotating real ales on offer, three at weekends, typically from the larger national breweries such as Theakston's, Jennings etc. Discount scheme for CAMRA Members, second pint half price upon production of Membership Card. Opened and converted in 2018 by the owner (Paul), who also has the nearby the Bowling Green, it was previously a pram shop. It has been refurbished to a high standard resulting in a welcoming, quiet, comfortable & spacious place to enjoy a pint or two. Children are not allowed and if the television is on it will always be muted. There is a small courtyard-style beer garden to the rear and food served daily until 5pm. Ashton's transport interchange of train, tram and bus is nearby.
